Would you care to comment on my poem?

(something silly)

Individual loops;

Stretched, then forced

Up then down,

For better, for worse

Woven together

Colors entwine

Bound as one

Of perfect design

Now having purpose

To endure scorching heat

Lasting forever

My pot holder’s complete.

.

Update:

Sitting here watching my 2 daughters with their looms... couldn't resist!

I pretty much knew from the start, because I have one of those looms and the results were gifted so often when I was a child.

I found this delightful and thank you for sharing it.

I don't know much about looms, JC,

I just recall a nautical term, "Loom gale" = short-time gale.

I am glad to know about the two!!! Bravo!

Very cute :D it's like a wedding for the threads that make the potholder. So adorable and fitting vocabulary I like it C:

I WONDERED what you were crocheting (or knitting).

Using words woven together, you now have a poem

as well as a pot holder!

Source(s): Of COURSE, LOOMS!!! "streched, then forced" how did I miss that???

Aww so cute! I remembered having one of hose things! Whimsical and almost melancholy but happy and thoughtful

    Love it!

How cute! Bought a kit for my young'un, & she makes them, too! (Some end up as baby doll accessories...)
