Anything by Loretta Lynn is great.
I love 'You Ain't Woman Enough', 'Fist City', 'Coal Miner's Daughter' and 'One's On The Way'.
She also sings 'Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man' with Conway Twitty which I think is such a good song- really catchy!
Dolly Parton has such good classic country songs too like 'Dumb Blonde', 'Why, Why, Why', 'My Tennessee Mountain Home', 'AppleJack' and 'Coat Of Many Colours'.
Her newer stuff is nice too like 'Backwoods Barbie' and 'Better Get To Livin''.
I love 'Gone Country' and 'Remember When' by Alan Jackson.
Also, if you're looking for NEWER artists that are still country (not country-pop) try Miranda Lambert or Josh Turner. :)
