How do Mexicans get a green card when they are already in the U.S. illegally?

if they entered the US illegally to begin with, they can't while still in the US, normally anyway. In theory, someone could get asylum and eventually get a green card that way, but at best that would be a handful of people. as for the rest, if they are married to an American or greencard holder, or the child of one or the other, they could be petitioned and interviewed in Mexico eventually. the adults would be ineligible for being here illegally, but they could apply for waivers and many get them. but that process takes quite a while.

Anyone who is in the USA illegally cannot receive a green card.

The Democrats provide loop holes and tax paid attornies to help them. They ( illegals ) pretend to go home file paperwork and simply walk across the border again. The Democrats demand "catch and Release" . So that illegals simply try to keep entering till they are able to bum rush our out numbered Border patrol and sneak back into the USA. Many get them from vendors found in areas where they reside. Counterfeit green cards are a big business. To get one lawfully marriage to a US citizen is the usual route.

they can get married but the process is very difficult. they would have to return to their country of birth and wait while there spouse files for their papers. the most troublesome issue that occurs is that the spouse must file a waiver for their illegal presence in the us. with this waiver they must prove that they would experience extreme hardship without them in the US. that is really the only way unless they Pass another amnesty or legalization program.

DUH....they go back to Mexico and apply for a green card at the US Embassy in Mexico City.

They don't, unless a judge orders it. But that's very rare.

And if our State representatives mandated the use of the E-Verify and SAVE programs like they should, most of them would be weeded out.

well the government has a lottery and anyone for example who is illegal and has been here for like 5 years can apply to get a green card..

By going home, staying there for ten years, then applying.
