Kidney stones often contain insoluble calcium oxalate, CaC2O4, which has Ksp= 2.3 x 10-9. Calcium oxalate is considerably less soluble than MgC2O4, which has Ksp= 8.6 x 10-5. Suppose a solution contained both Ca2+ and Mg2+ at a concentration of 0.28 M. What pH would be required to achieve maximum separation of these ions by precipitation of CaC2O4 if the solution also contains oxalic acid, H2C2O4, at a concentration of 0.16 M? For H2C2O4, Ka1= 5.6 x 10-2 and Ka2= 5.4 x 10-5.

Too complicated a question for me. But people who rely on veggies for their calcium should be aware that many of the calcium rich veggies also contain oxalates. Oxalates inhibit your body's ability to absorb calcium and iron. So if your body can't absorb the calcium, it tries to pass it out through the kidneys....sometimes leading to kidney stones. BTW, soy is high in oxalates.

    And I have a reference:

"Peanuts, pinto beans, black beans and soybeans are high in oxalates. So are products derived from these foods, such as peanut butter, refried pinto beans, and tofu, which is a fermented product of soybeans. Soy-based veggie burgers contain about 800 mg of oxalates per 100 g serving, while tofu contains about 200 mg of oxalates per 100 g serving, and peanuts contain about 180 mg of oxalates per 100 g serving."

Ask this in chemistry section kidney stones formations are due to a number of things, one of which milk consumption. Milk from a cow has too much calcium per glass yo begin with. There is no conclusive evidence that milk promotes bone health. It's all marketing hype amd based on no body of evidence perpetrated by the dairy industry can its cronies, the USDA and FDA. In act, vitamin D promotes calcification and in milk it may cause serious damage to the kidneys, among these effects are kidney stones and urinary calculi, and damage to the eyes.

The calcium in milk is not very bioavailable and only has a 20-30% absorption. Drinking cow's milk will result in more calcium being lost than gained. Many people are not aware of this and rely on milk for their calcium.

Also, there is scant evidence that we need at least 1,000 mg calcium a day. In most countries outside the western world, calcium intake is less than 300 mg a day, and the occurrences and risks of osteoporosis is very low.

All the more reason to not drink the crap. It's meant for calves, not people. There is a reason why an estimated 75% are lactose intolerant globally.

the foruma unit is the comparable as a mol of molecule . Sice that's an ionic compound they in lots of cases say formula unit. mol = g/Mwt additionally one million mol = 6.02 10^23 formula instruments. on the grounds which you recognize what share formula instruments you have and you besides mght understand what share formula instruments is in one mol you may confirm the form of mols of calcium oxalate which you have.

I like fruits over vegetables because I feel that fruits just feel "fresher" somehow.
