The sound isn't working on my computer :(?
The little bars that show sound output on all of my music editing programs, as well as the Windows 7 volume control, all bounce around as if sound should be coming out, so I tried different speakers and headphones and still no sound. The speakers and headphones all work on other things like my MP3 player and my laptop, just not my desktop. I opened the side of the computer and I can't see anything wrong with the i/o panel where it's attached to the motherboard, and it worked this morning just fine and I haven't changed any settings.
Help?
I downloaded new drivers and restarted my computer. The new drivers came with a program that also knows when I plug something into the audio port and which audio port I plugged it into. So this means that my computer is trying to make sound, my speakers want to make sound, and it knows that my speakers are plugged in, but there still isn't any sound :(
The front headphone jack works...
