Is God leading us all down the path of self destruction?
In 1800 there were 1 billion people on this planet, and in 1900 there were 2 billion people, today there are 7 billion, and in 20 years there will be 10 billion people. The most religious countries see the most exponential growth rates, and therefore consume the most resources. Today 1 in 6 people have no access to fresh drinking water, this number is growing.
And say what you will, this has absolutely nothing to do with global warming, and whether that is real or not, this is simple human consumption, and population growth. And you can take this closer to home, the most religious states also see the most population growth, and have the largest families, with a future that is uncertain and does not guarantee infinite resources, food and water, like some say God would provide.
God said to go forth and prosper, to multiply and He would provide, was this bad advice in His part? Can He provide for a growing population with shrinking resources.

You're deeply mistaken
Whenever things get out of hand it's easy to throw it in God's lap.
Nature is still providing enough food and water, greed and politics
are things of man's nature, nothing to do with God.
Don't get confused in pointing in the wrong direction, always take
a look in the mirror first, you'd be surprised what you see
Peace

If the numbers are still growing, they are obviously getting the drinking water from somewhere. Exponential growth is never infinite in real life.
The Earth's population is a dynamic thing, there are numerous self-regulating mechanisms built in. It will take care of itself. It's not gonna be pleasant, but that's the down side to getting thrown out of the Garden of Eden.
The issue for you, is not so much the problem, but the solution.

i've got not. i've got theory approximately it till now, many cases truthfully. nonetheless i won't be able to experience something from it. i are not getting wish or motivation from thinking "it somewhat is not that undesirable, somebody else has had it worse", neither do i've got faith melancholy or sorrow. Seeing suffering or deception in the direction of innocence, it somewhat is an entire diverse remember for me. A desire to kill the reason will right away nicely up interior me. Ofcourse, i don't plan to act on it. people are corrupt anywho. it somewhat is much less complicated for persons to decieve, for the main area, so everybody is lots greater probable to do it.

God makes no mistakes. Doesn't he have a purpose for everything? What if Jesus comes to take his people away tomorrow? Then there will be enough water. Either way God always provides. If you know him personally as your Savior, it's not self destruction, it's going to heaven.

I cannot stand religion. Religion is a pointless set of contradicting rules, reinterpreted millions of times by the most corrupt people ever born to control and manipulate its hapless followers. Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are the worst, as they have bred intolerance more than any other social force ever created. You can find no war that does not involve religion in one form or another. Religion is the only force that could possibly drive people to war.
Wake up, people! Religion is the cancer of our global society! It prevents social, medical, scientific, and moral advancement based upon ancient and out-of-touch rules further based upon things that may or may not have happened thousands of years ago. Why are we so weak-minded as to continue to let this influence our decisions?!

17 To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’
“Cursed is the ground because of you;
through painful toil you will eat food from it
all the days of your life.
