That is possible; it seems likely that there are far more than merely billions.

Yes.

By definition, if God created all of them then all of them are part of creation. If God created even one thing not found on Earth (such as the Sun or Moon), then creation was put other than only on Earth.

According to one recent estimate, there could be 2 billion earth like planets in the Milky Way alone. if proven, that would surely shake up the 'earth is so perfect how could it form by chance alone' argument that theists so often use.

I believe that God created everything for a reason, one of the reasons for these other planets is their gravitational pull on everything around it, which in turn could effect us. Also for all we know God created life on other planets.
