ozone type smell throughout the house?
There is a strange odor permeating my home... I would say it smells electronic. smells like ozone but not quite. Any ideas?
No I don't use any air cleaner other than the furnace filter. I know the electronic cleaners emit ozone.

Power off the house for a few hours. See if the smell is gone. Power it back up, with no A/C, and see if you can find the appliance that is making it. If it comes on with the A/C, you may have an electrostatic air filter system that needs cleaning.
Put in a humidifier, run it all the time (unless the humidity is 80% most of the time where you live). Wipe the walls down with a little bit of soap and lots of water. Shampoo and vacuum the carpets. Clean any drapes / tapestries.
See if that reduces the smell.

do u have an electronic air cleaner?,,if left on 24-7 it will cause this smell
