  • PSI in a 3.5 Liter space from a 12 Gram CO2 cartridge?

I am looking to make a CO2 powered mini football launcher for Airsoft. I plan to make a expansion tube that is about 3.5 Liter volume and to have a 12g CO2 cartridge dump into it before being expelled by a valve. The PVC pipe I am looking at is rated to 400PSI and I want to make sure I am below that value so that it doesn't blow up next to my head when I connect the CO2.

What if I only went with 2L volume?

  • Driver's side window doesn't operate?

So what is wrong with it. The window is thankfully up but it is getting nice outside and drive through windows are a pain!

The Switch seems to operate because when I depress it I can hear a small click within the door. I know this isn't the switch itself because I have removed the door panel and you can clearly hear a click from inside the door but the window doesn't budge. Do you have to replace the whole carriage assembly or just the motor?

  • The Muppet show on DVD?

Saturday was Jim's 75th birthday and it got me to wonder. Why haven't the last couple of seasons been released on DVD? Why where some of the musical performances cut from season 1? Disney must really want to milk this for all its worth.

  • Anyone ever buy an RC plane from BananaHobby.com or NitroPlanes.com?

I have gone to my local hobby shop for all my remote control cars but their selection of planes is lacking and have been looking for online vendors but both these websites don't have customer feedback and their Rating at the Better Business Bureau is an F.

What was your experience with either of these companies?

  • OJ cheaper as Not from concentrate?

OK so I am in the Chicago land area. I like orange juice... more accurately I LOVE orange juice and I prefer Minute Maid Orange Juice over Tropicana. So I have tried to figure out the cost of concentrate vs not from concentrate and discovered its actually cheaper to buy the 1 gallon of not from concentrate than it is to buy the concentrated oj. How can this be...? Don't question me about the math as to this was my major in college.

  • propagate pine tree from cone?

I have 6 pine trees around my home and wonder why I am not growing little pine trees all over the place since they drop cones all the time. My reasoning for asking is to find a way of getting some saplings to grow. I live right near a high way and figure that instead of spending a few hundred on some new pines I could grow my own as a sound barrier. Using the cones how can I get a pine tree to grow?

  • How do bars and fitness centers have all those TVs and not a box on all of them?

AT&T U-Verse, Satellite TV, and Comcast all require you to have a box for each TV you wish to hook up to their service but you can walk into any bar, fitness center, restaurants with TVs all over the place and yet not a single one of them have a cable box hooked up to each one. So why do they not need a box for every TV but for those of us with home service we have to pay an extra fee for every TV we wish to have hooked up?

  • Tax law for divorced couple?

Donald and Marla Divorced. Part of the settlement included.

Marla transferred to Donald corporate stock, a commercial building, and a personal residence. Donald transferred other property to Marla, but the fair market value of the property was $600,000 Less than the fair market value that Marla transferred to him. To make the settlement equal, Donald agreed to pay Marla $600,000, payable over 10 yrs at 8% interest.

Can Donald deduct the interest from his federal income tax return? He had been doing it as investment interest but the IRS disallowed the interest deduction, and classified it as nondeductible personal interest. I am thinking that he should be allowed the deduction as part of the settlement because he has had the benefit of the $600,000 worth of property for 10 yrs while the wife has had to wait for her $600,000.

I need to find a section of the tax law to prove my claim and having trouble getting started.

  • How do you make Italian ice?

I have found a few recipes online but they all talk about making your mix and sticking it in the freezer where you stir it once every half hour to prevent it from becoming an block of lemon ice. Its texture when finished was closer to that of a slushy or snow cone. the Italian ice you buy in stores is smooth and very small ice crystals.
