Why are questions I've answered deleted according to community standards after I've answered them.?
Three times tonight I've written an answer to what seemed like pretty good and innocuous questions only to find they had been deleted "according to community standards." One was "What quote do you live by?" Another was "What would you say to President Obama if you had a few seconds to talk to him" by somebody who just might have the chance. Is there someone out there who's labeling questions as improper just to do it or is something wrong with Yahoo?

It was probably for a chatting violation. I just looked at your questions, They are almost all chatting in Yahoos terms. A question must give an answer which is useful and adds knowledge to All members. Your questions are mainly personal. It's harmless enough but that is the rule Please read Yahoo Guidelines. I really don't understand their so called community standards. None of them make any sense. It is possible that it is cultural differences. Afterall, the British are not Americans. They speak a different version of English than Americans do. So I just chalk it up to a cultural thing.
When we say the tube its television.
When they say the tube its the subway trains.
So community standards to them are different than what community standards are to Americans.

Same things have been happening to me, I'm guessing it's a glitch in the system. sometimes you can go back to "MY ACTIVITY" and your answers will be in there, sometimes not. I'm having a really big problem with answering questions, seriously answering them with absolute facts, and getting multiple thumbs down, when someone else is answering with complete jibberish and giving very false answers getting all the thumbs up.
