I want to move to south florida, what is the best area?
I have been thinking about Boca, Ft. Lauderdale or Miami...I want to be kinda close to Miami...
I am 25 y/o college student and work in mental health. I am also transgender so an area that is more GLBT friendly would be best.
I live in downtown Orlando now and like going out so I want to be close to a downtown area...I'm leaning to Boca but if anyone knows the pro's and con's of all the big areas down there...like boca/west palm, miami-dade, ft lauderdale I would appreciate your help!
Thanks!

The friendliest cities will be Lake Worth, Oakland Park, Wilton Manors, southern areas of Miami Beach, and the downtown area of Fort Lauderdale.

I suggest moving to Miami, you really have it all. If your looking for a nice area, try looking into Kendall. Everything is close by, so nothing to worry about. Beach is about 15 to 20 min drive. Night life all over the city.

I suggest that you consider Orlando. The housing is currently cheap and there are so many themeparks and attractions in the area there is a good chance of getting a job that suits your skills. Here is a link to a few of the major themeparks: http://disneyvacationsaustralia.com/disney-travel-...

I sure would only consider a place in South Florida, where I could live close to my work. In the areas you mention, snarled traffic will always be a problem.
