Radio Turned on by itself!?

Last night I was was standing outside my bedroom at about 12 o clock, just about to switch the light off to go to bed, when (and this may or may not have anything to do with it) I noticed that a sticker i'd stuck on the door of my sister's room months ago that i'd got out of a magazine was actually a pentagram the wrong way up (as in it looked like a normal star) and i'd just recently watched a video on youtube about if you have pentagrams and gargoyles and things around the house you are welcoming bad things in. Any way the second I noticed that I heard the fridge beeping downstairs, that noise it makes when you leave it open, although it does just sometimes beep out of the blue and i was just going to go down there to see if it was open, when the manual radio started playing in the bathroom along the hall. The radio is a small battery powered shower radio, and you have to twidle the dials in oder to switch it on. The radio sounded like it was sweeping through all the channels, not that fast but not too slow either. I just freaked out and ran into my room, and then in the morning i asked my sister where the dial had been on the radio that morning (she'd used the radio that morning) and she said it was on a radio station that i hadn't set it to, infact it was one right at the point where the dial can't go any further. Do you think this could be something paranormal? Other strange things have happened in my house, In fact I saw a ghost when I was six, what do yuo think this could be?

Update:

@dave when I say it's a shower proof radio, I didn't mean it was in the shower, it's on the window sill it's never been wet before

Update 2:

for all of you saying it's to do with moisture, no one showers or baths in this bathroom, it's really just used as a toilet and where my sister and I brush our teeth

The radio is sitting in a very humid environment and it's possible that water vapor is getting inside. This is not good for electronics. Even if it is marketed as being showerproof, it's certainly possible (and rather likely compared to other explanations) that the switches on the radio aren't sufficiently water proof. The on/off switch has probably gone bad. This is a far, far more likely explanation than a ghost.

EDIT: Then the radio is just plain defective. It happens. All the time, as matter of fact. Places that sell consumer electronics are always getting returns on defective merchandise. I bought a TV recently and I was having problems with it turning on and off. Turns out it was a bad power supply. There are plentiful reasons why electronics may fail, and none of them have to do with ghosts.

Well seeing as ghosts aren't real, it won't be one of those.

"The radio is a small battery powered shower radio...."

and of course, it won't remain water proof forever. Water conducts electricity to a certain extent and if small amounts get into electrical equipment it can bridge the gap between contacts and make things operate erratically.

So, your fridge beeped as it normally does, about the same time that water condensed in your radio. Coincidences like this happen regularly in life, it's a bit imaginative to blame it on something that's not real, rather than something that is.

Edit: It's still just a minor fault/short circuit in the radio. Again it's extreme to say it's not an electrical fault (happens all the time) and that it's a ghost (that don't exist). If a car you were driving in stopped, would your first thought be "it's run out of fuel or "maybe an electrical fault" or "the engine spirits are angry and have hexed my electrical system!" ??

I say it's all in your head. Try to not let it get to you. Most strange activity ends up not being paranormal as there is always a scientific explanation for things.

It could be from an internal or external electrical surge.
