What are you thankful for?

This morning I am thankful for answered prayers: Joe's cousin's daughter - an only child - got hit by a semi last night. The truck crossed the center line and smashed into her vehicle. I got a call from the Prayer Chain about it. She is going to live. Praise God!

What a wonderful question to get our minds on the positive!

I could leave a very long list, but the top two on it would be

I am thankful for the gifts of LIFE and LOVE.

In ancient Greece, they had an altar in the center of all Temples, saying:

"To a God Unknown" They thought that there is always some Entity, Value,

a system of Universal Laws out there that interconnects with us, helps us,

guides us through life, one we do not comprehend or perceive..

John Steinbeck wrote an excellent book, (his best I think) titled "To a God

Unknown" So, I am thankful to all evident Entities, Values and Laws, Spiritual

Forces, and humans that affect me, and I am also thankful to this God Unknown...

I am thankful for every breath. I am thankful that I got to experience the miracle of life on this wonderful planet. I am thankful I was born in America. I am thankful I was born in the late twentieth century. I am thankful I was born with skinny genes. I am thankful for YAP.

I pray and thank for Peace, Love and Health.

Soo much:

-I made it out of the dentist's office alive today :P

-my family (my cousins, grandparents, included)

-my friends

-that today and tomorrow are school holidays :)

-that I have done well in school

-passed my drivers test (I had such a nice instructor)

-I've had amazing teachers in class and in clubs

-my mom bought cookies today

-God and his Angels

-I go to an amazing school

-my boyfriend :)

-my boyfriend's family (particularly his mom) are so nice to me

-my home

-the fact that i have my own room

-how my parents are so supportive of me

-my siblings and how we get along

-the warmer weather

-my cats

-my country

-my possessions

-the internet

-the fact that you asked this question. It put me in such a good mood :)

My health, my family and my friends and their health. What else is more important than that? People take that all for granted.
