A Dallas Poem from last month, care to enjoy?
Words written by our dear friend, Dallas-
If I had a way to say with no character limits
I could spend the day in thousands of minutes
sayin thanks to all those I know
Y'all took me in, adopted me kinda and ya help me grow.
The list of those I care for could be way long
but I have expressed it sometimes pretty strong.
So many have come to my back porch musins
so many have met my family, and endured my poetic choosins.
So in this what I'm tryin to truthfully say,
I so love ya all, look forward to seein Y'all every day.

Again, to thank you, though not poetical
perhaps I need to smoke some Peyote?
You,others, me even can't just know Dallas
to get to her core
one has to accept and explore
the mind that lives still in this child
tolerate both her mild and wild.
She is simplistic, as she lives in her state
of sub and un consciousness of late
Those who miss her now, may not, for long
but what may resonate still, "her childlike song."
You do her a great honor as others have. I thank you for that.
I guess this did turn to amature poetry.
