How many Democrats support our military involvement in Libya?
And, if so, would you have supported these same actions under his predecessor?
John John, Glad to see you omitted the Libyian civilian deaths. There are dictators all over the world. Not all of them have oil tho.
Jim, I believe you just as I know there are many Democrats & liberals who oppose Obama's foreign policy. Thanks for contributing.
Revolution...was bin laden an ally or a covert tool? I get where you're coming from but if this drags on for months won't you lump Libya in the same category as Iraq & Afghanistan? Just saying. Thanks for contributing...to one & all.

I don't support Obama's misguided war for oil. I didn't support Bush's war either.

I'm not necessarily a democrat, but I am a liberal. I have mixed feelings about it. For one, I feel like it was necessary for the international community to step in, but the last thing we need is to get involved with another county's affair for a long length of time. And as far as supporting the rebels, It could easily backfire. Our allies can very well be our enemies a decade later. Look at Sadam, look at Osama.
I think the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan was carried out in the wrong manner. If we can stop the mass violence in Libya without staying there for more than a few weeks, then I will not object. If we end up committing ourselves there too, then I shall loose esteem for Obama
If the Libyan rebels become hostile towards the US a few years down the line, then I shall laugh and grieve at the repeated mistakes of the United States government

So far, yes I support the military action. I would not support a war. I would have the same feelings for G Bush in this situation. Believe it or not, I am an American first and a Democrat second.

I think Democrats support Afghanistan and Libya but the fading generations Iraq war is another story.

Yes. As long as Bush didn't screw up the execution.
I don't know why people pretend that the Dems were against the War in Iraq. Initially most Dems supported it. Bush's approval rating was over 70% when we invaded. It wasn't until no WMD were found and we found out he had no exit strategy, that the public, myself included, turned against it. I'm sure cons will give me thumbs down for this because they like to pretend Democrats reflexively hated everything Bush did but when it came to Iraq that wasn't the truth. Feel free to prove these facts wrong.

Afghanistan and Libya are the RIGHT military actions.
Why did "W" and the Pubs invade Iraq?! (that was the WRONG war! and at a cost of OVER $1 TRILLION!!!! Pubs will pay for that decision for a long time !!!!!!! )

I would have supported it more if he would have ended it in one day. We knew where Gaddafi was. We could have sent 20 cruise missiles to his location. I know the UN Mandate didn't allow that, but accidents happen. Now we have a war that could drag on for months, or longer.

you should indicate our public education gadget. As a accepted rule, households who can arise with the money for it deliver their youngsters to private colleges. the middle and reduce economic instructions have a tendency to deliver theirs to public colleges. because the Democratic party has traditionally been more suitable representative of the middle and reduce economic instructions, public education has continuously been a serious plank in the party's platform.

Not a Democrat, but as a Liberal I have been consistent at being against military involvement.
I may have been sold on a true no-fly zone, but between the bombings and my distrust in American military operations I am firmly against it.

To safe live,s yes, to declare war against it's government, no. We have to be aware that there is a Military-Industrial Complex whose only objective is to make money for their share holders and they profit only from war.
