Is a dehumidifier worth repairing at a repair shop?

I have 4 of them. have cleaned the filter etc. Do they maybe need recharged or fans replaced? what do you suppose they would charge?

Generally your repair will be expensive. Could be the compressor burned out-common issue and caution should be a priority. If plugged in could load house wiring or have melted insulation wiring.Save money and shop on Craigslist for another unit. And select a younger unit then the spent one you have.

As dehumidifiers are basically a refrigeration unit they could be quite expensive to repair depending of course what the problem is.
