If i wanted to maintain my weight, what is the minimum of calories i should eat? i eat about 1600

    Well, you're absolutely crazy for worrying about your weight. You're only 13! I know you probably are SICK of people telling you that, but it's true. I'm 14, 5'4, 95 pounds, and I never exercise. When I say never, I mean it. Every day, I have around 2500 calories (this is when I restrict myself) and usually even more if I feel like it. I eat slow and I eat almost whenever I have my hands free. Guess what? I don't gain any wright whatsoever. It's funny though, how that works. You see, if you start eating less, your body isn't used to it and because of that, your body goes into "starvation mode". What does this do? Well basically, you get FATTER. Strange eh? When you eat a lot, and your stomach is used to digesting a lot of food, it actually doesn't make you gain weight. Because I constantly eat, I have a pretty high metabolism level. That's why I don't gain weight. But don't get me wrong, if you eat junk food all day, you ARE going to gain weight. But if you eat a lot, but you eat healthy, nothing is going to happen.

    If you want to maintain your weight, then eat healthy, and keep your daily exercise. 1600 calories is not enough for a growing boy (especially if you exercise too).

    that's probably about right. Look on line for calculators. search daily calorie intake calculators or something like that lol. Your so young and your a boy. i honestly don't think you should worry, and what 13 year old boy counts calories. thats jkz
