Does jogging affect height in any way?
I was just wondering because I use to jog for 20 minutes a day. I then stopped because I had no time because of school. I measure myself everyday and I was 1/4-1/2 taller when I jogged for 20 minutes a day compared to now and I remember feeling taller. (I measure myself WITHOUT shoes)
My posture is still the same and I do stretches everyday still. I drink 2-3 cups of milk a day and recently started taking multi vitamins and I get 7-10 hours of sleep a day.
I'm a 17 1/2 year old male. If jogging doesn't affect your height, what are some possibilities of my decreased height?
Thank you!

You are 17 and normally height grow until 21 so I believe its your natural height growth and nothing to do with Jogging but running is best physical activity for your body. If believe just eat healthy with lots of fruits, Vegetable and proteins and especially milk.

Hi,
I am Shaina from NC (US) and I am pretty sure what's going in your mind. 2 years back I was in the same situation as of you know. A perfect figure included a good physical appearance and height. I was 5.3 and always had a feeling of embarrasment when I saw tall girls. I used to surf net for " how to gr ow ta ller" and a fter 2 mo nths of efforts I landed on @ https://tr.im/Um1yo
You need to focus on some food pro ducts and a well prepared routine and rest of thing you will get from the prod uct. Good luck hopefully you will get the resultts like me.
NOTE : Follow atleast 1 weeek before seeing res ults in you :) Started seeing re sults after 1 0 da ys in my case.

Jogging actually will make you a bit shorter FOR THE DAY. Because when you run, or walk, the liquid between the bones will disappear, which makes you shorter. But they will rebuild. That's why you are taller in the morning, then at night. Not sure about long term effects.

when you run you bob up and down so your bones get crunched together and shrink you. i would stop running as soon as possible, or you may shrink enough to become a midget.
