How do you achieve this hairstyle?

that's using the old fasioned pin curls. the style came from the "pin-up girl era". you just roll peices of hair up around your head and bobby pin them down and secure. when you take them out (you could probably sleep with them in or use products to make the wave stay) just put a little bit of hair spray and make any tiny adjustements with a curling iron or flat iron(you can curl hair with flat iron, it has to be skinny)
