[JEN-i-fər]
means "fair and smooth"
What are your honest thoughts on the name? I've liked it ever since I watched Jennifer's Body ♥ and I'm thinking of proposing it to my SO to add to our list. If it makes any difference to what you're going to say about it, I'm from England.
BTW: I'm generally not bothered much by popularity :)

I actually love the name a lot. Unfortunately, it is very, very popular and has been for quite a while now. If has a certain feel and flow to it similar to Rosamund, and I've thought of pairing it in a sibset with that name. Many people, like many over-popular names, see it as too boring.
I also feel the same way about Abigail, though I find it even more stunning of a name than Jennifer I must say! Won't use either though most likely.
I wonder what you are thinking of pairing it with.

My cousin named her baby Jennifer last year :) It's not a name you see on little children any more, to be honest. I quite like it for that reason, but because it's so common it's not a name I think "oo, that's pretty!" when I hear it.

i like it! it must be consumer-friendly yet i does not permit that section me. it truly is elementary, relatively and intensely female. i'm not liking Jenna even nonetheless i be attentive to a Jenna, it in simple terms sounds incomplete to me, and that i might desire Jennifer over Jenna. although Genevieve is a eye-catching French call! different names for the nickname Jen may well be Jenae, Jennessa, Jennaya, Generosa, Geneva, etc. nonetheless i might desire Jennifer and Genevieve over those.

Way overdone... I know about 30 Jennifer's on the top of my head... But it is relatively classy and elegant and grows up well. I can't really complain about it except for the fact it's so dang common.

Common.

It's incredibly dated and common. I know way too many 30something y/o Jennifers.
