Have you ever seen a price of a MLB ticket this low? This was from stubhub. Information inside->?

I've never seen $0.98 but I've seen $1.00... the Braves, D'Backs and Rockies used to have one dollar tickets up until a few years ago...

I wouldn't want those Yankees tickets though.. they are fr the 4th deck in the outfield, no fun in April cold and drizzle.

Tickets cost too much now. Damn the Cubs/Illinois fr starting the secondary market trend, and The Red Sox fr Ace Ticket and their sly ticket sales methods that help keep the sell out streak going by circumnavigating state laws against selling tickets above face value. Ticketmaster is an evil monopoly and needs to be broken up.

Is that the online auction feature? The owner can start the bidding at $.98 and reserve the right to pull the tickets if the price does not hit the stated minimum. You can't get standing room tickets at Fenway for under $40 on Stubhub.

No i never seen tickets for a baseball game go for 98 cents before but if the owner of the tickets does have a reserved price and people dont meet the price that the owner of the tickets will refuse to sell them

Actually, it's quite common for how shocking it is.. On game days, when those season ticket holders are scrambling to sell tickets, they sell for quite low. You can sometimes see Brewers tickets at even less than that (only a couple cents, I think $.90, but it's still low). So if you live very close to a ballpark, StubHub can help you a lot.

I used to sit in the Wrigley Field Bleachers for 25 cents in the 40s. If I remember correctly, they were 75 cents in the early 60s.

Of course, I HATE when the cost of 'shipping and handling' or whatever is 'more' than the item. This reminds me of a time I bought a used book on Amazon.com. I could have bought it from Amazon directly for $3.99, no shipping and handling. Or I could buy a nice copy for one cent. A PENNY! ...But shipping and handling was $3.98. Eventually I settled for the penny book. It cost the same, I know, but it was only a penny!

I think for baseball, its reliable. Ive sold baseball tix before and they make you put in your barcode and its legite. Any other sport, dont do StubHub. I just got screwed at the Heat game on 4/6/11. My tickets were invalid and the Heat turned me away. For baseball, id trust em, any other sport, id be weary.
