I will be going out with my wife to visit my daughter and son-in-law, and I'd enjoy any suggestions.

Rocky Mountain National Park is less than an hour from Boulder and there are many great places to visit in Denver...as well as going to a Rockies game at Coors Field. The Museum, tours of the mint and capital are great. And the Denver Art Museum is fantastic...very different...and very near the mint.

Visit the Pearl Street Mall... lots of street performers, especially during the summer time. The mountains are right there too, so go on a nice hike... there's a quite a few trails up at Chautauqua Park. Also take a drive up to The Rocky Mountain National Park up in Estes Park... it's a beautiful drive, and you'll be able to see LOTS of ELK!
