Is anyone upset that Pia Toscano was voted off American Idol?

She's talented yes but I think that her ballads were too boring for me. A great musician and or artist should have diversity, Pia tried to show it but personally, I wasn't too crazy about it. I preferred her to stick with the ballads after that, and her ballads are just so boring...

So therefore, I give her a lot of credit for her raw talent, but I wasn't upset with the results.

No. I was quite relieved to see her go. AI is supposed to be a singing competition, and Pia can definitely sing. But it is not supposed to be a beauty contest and I think she was definitely trying to showcase her beauty (whether fake or real) more than she was trying to engage the audience with her singing talent. It infuriated me when Brian Seacrest asked her to turn around so the audience could see the lowcut back of her dress. Like I said, this is not a beauty contest. I also noticed that many times the other two girls were often dressed down on practice/audition days, and seemed much more everyday- but not Pia. She was always in makeup & jewelry- and waaaay over-tanned! I especially hate how so many of America's men, are so blindly naive and spellbound, to her so-called 'natural' beauty. She seems as though she has a pleasant personality, but in focusing so much on her outward beauty, and always wearing glittery dresses & jewelry, over-tanning,, make-up, etc., (aka: Perfect Pia) it raises the standard (by which women everywhere, are judged by men)- to highly unattainable measures for most of us 'average' women. To make it worse, Pia, undoubtedly comes across as a 'privileged' type, with no expenses spared. She didn't attend a 'regular' high school, and is certainly not an 'unknown' waiting to be discovered. My vote will go to the relatively unknown talent who has struggled & clawed a little along the way, to make it big.

Pia was the class of the field, plain and simple. Who gives a rats azz if she sang ballad after ballad. She was awesome doing it and easily was better than her competitors. I agree that Paul is hard to watch and harder to listen to. He "spoke" 2/3 of the lyrics in his last song and simply cannot sing. Stefano is shill on top of shrill and needs to go.

The truth of the matter is that the voting is controlled by 12 year old girls who throb over Stefano and Scotty. Until voting is restricted, like it is on "So You Think You Can Dance", we will continue to be blessed with American Idols that have no talent....like last years winner and Taylor Hicks. You will continue to get surprise winners like Chris Allen and David (Super Ego) Cook.

I was cause she was a great singer and was a really beautiful girl, she may not have a lot of stage presence or personality but she definitely didn't deserve to get voted off tonight! I am really upset about Pia getting voted off when I thought it was gonna be either Paul or Stefano

No,she was getting boring. I thought her last performance was the worst of the night,she just didn't seem comfortable singing anything other than a ballad.

@Sabrina are you kidding me??? She is the best singer this season, vocally and talented. Why are you not referring to Scotty? He's so boring, making everything country... please the only reason he's stayed that long is because there are lots of country supporters! I for one am pissed off of today's result. Pffs...I really thought Pia was going to make it in top 2. This season is a joke to me now!!! I am pissed as hell.

Pia is the best singer of the group. America is run by dumb teenage girls with Bieber disease. It's a tragedy that a talent liek Pia is gone while COMPLETE JOKES like Selina Gomez gets to sing on Danging with the stars , Are you kidding me? America needs to stop raising MORONIC TEEN GIRLS who keep voting for absolute ego maniacs like James Durbin!

Just a LITTLE. Haley or Paul should have gone. What REALLY upset me was Naima being voted off. I thought she was going all the way.
