If the Government shuts down will the FBI stop investigating the politicians?

    Yes they will stop investigating you for your alleged double homiside and rape crimes;)

    Seriously though prisons arn't closing and they are not going to release bad guys to the streets so stop worrying about politics and the FBI. Worst case scenario the FBI works and gets paid massive checks in afew weeks.

    the fbi stoped investigating politicians 20 years ago, or they would all be in jail

    all essential jobs will remain which includes the FBI although they will have a smaller budget

    Federal law enforcement remains, although certain ongoing activities may be delayed.
