What was the Best Car you ever Owned and Why?

I'm almost embarrassed about how many cars I have owned over the years (about 30 at 38 years old LOL) I was just wondering what your best car ownership was and why? Best Answer will be based on the reason and not really the car.

My current car, 2002 Acura RSX-S. 0-60 in 6.3 seconds and 40MPG on the freeway. Ive put 130,000 miles on it after I bought with 30,000 and its been bulletproof. I replaced the primary o2 and front brakes pads at 105,000 miles, and the rear pads at 147,000 miles. Acuras/Hondas are amazing.

I currently own the best car that I've ever purchased.

And that is a 1959 Jaguar XK150 that I bought at an estate sale a few years back. The car was not in the auction catalogue and was a late entry. I was tipped beforehand and showed up with a lot of money. I needn't have; there were no car enthusiasts at the auction and the people there had no idea what they were bidding on. To them it was just another old high mileage car. I bought this car for a song with less than 35,000 documented miles on the odometer.

The late owner was the original owner and pampered this car it's whole life. And the spare parts that came with the car basically equalled what I paid for the complete package.

I will never sell this vehicle.

I currently own a 2004 dodge dakota with its 4.7L V8. I have done modifications to the air induction system and exhaust system. I have had it for 7 years now and I have had very little trouble. I do all my maintenance as required I use synthetic oil (Royal Purple) I have it my crank case, transfer case, transmission, both front and rear differentials. Over the years i Have used one set of tires. Michelin's Lt tires there 265/70R16 Very nice tread for all around weather protection I currently have 50,000 miles on those tires and have about 4 to 5/32 left of tread life. I have 120,000 miles and i installed 1 water pump, 1 front main seal and 1 TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) Other than that everything is clean, no leaks of any kind. Overall A very good respected truck thats gets me from A to Z with very little concern of breaking down.

    1974 Dodge Charger.

It climbed mountains like a billy goat, and would dance through traffic on the highway.

It refused to spin out (unless forced to) and would recover easily.

It would go though a foot of snow (on bias ply summer tires) like it wasn't even there.

    Better than 20mpg.

And it even looked good sitting still.

I used to have a similar issue. Then I started buying Toyotas. I prefer a Camry to a Corolla but either one can take a beating and keep running strong.
