For DirectX 11 support, you need a 500 series card.
If you want highest settings, you have to get a pretty decent card. That narrows down the selection to the GTX 560 Ti or better. A 450W power supply isn't adequate for that level card, so you're looking at a power supply upgrade also.
If your power supply is a good quality Corsair, Antec, Seasonic or the like, you could get by with the GTX 550 Ti which should hit highest settings on some games, but not necessarily all. A cheap power supply just isn't going to run the video card you want.
Also, as the others have mentioned, games that stress a video card also tend to stress the CPU, which your E4600 @ 2.4 GHz really isn't capable of handling without slowing down.

2GB of RAM and an e4600 won't cut it. You'll need a better CPU and more RAM before you can start topping games out.

Try a GTX 460
