US college rape statistics for report?
I have always heard that a college age woman has a 25% chance of being sexually assaulted during her 4 year term in college. The Department of Justice studies I've found all indicate an 8% occurrence of sexual assault (but within a one year time frame only).
Does anyone know what study is being cited for the 25% chance? If you know a link to the publication that would be even better. My presentation is a comparison of sexual abuse in college and prisons.
