Fundamentalist & other Christians, who are anti-gay. Do you see your own sin?

On of our bishops today said that he had taken a vow to serve all of God’s people, and that means every human being. Everyone is a child of God. So I ask you if your priest and ministers take a vow to serve all of God’s people, how can they, and you, turn your back on those who are homosexual? How can you turn your back on those who are (fill in the blank with your favorite prejudice)? All people are God’s people. Do you see the evil in what you are doing by condemning others? As Christians we are called to love everyone. And our pastors take a vow to serve all. Can you open your eyes to the truth of God’s love? Can you put the hate aside and love each and every person in the name of Christ?

Update:

M92, yes, I know. I am trying to get them to think.

Christians do not have the power to condemn, but we can tell you who God said he will condemn. If we did not love homosexuals also, we would not bother trying to help them by telling them the truth. Gods word is for them too, and we hope that they will accept christ as well so that they may have eternal life In heaven. People always seem to understand Gods love but they refuse to believe in Gods wrath. Its like a good friend warning another friend of what danger awaits them.

yes we serve god and seek to save all people

no that does not mean we must approve of sin and immoral actions as homosexuality and child rape and murder.

opposing sin is not turning our back on people

the sinners refuse help and turn their back on the truth and salvation of god

we are not condemning people we are condemning immoral actions that are being claimed as good behavior

we know god's love and god's truth

we have no hate for people and do love people

we do not approve of nor do we support sinful behavior

We are suppose to love everyone, but we are also suppose to let people know that we are against sin, because sin separates from Gods Love. We are not suppose to beat people over the head with it, either.

It is wrong to treat homosexuality as the unforgivable sin. Some Christians do go overboard in this respect. Homosexuality is wrong, but so is lying, stealing, worshipping other gods and so on.

It is ok for them to sit in judgment of others even though their book tells them not to, for they are forgiven, and are the chosen whom are in for a rude awakening.
