What is your favorite chew toy for a power chewer?

My bully loves to destroy the toys I get her. The tire biter held up pretty good, except that she picks at the thing and tears the rubber apart, making a mess - although it was a great play toy. Right now she has a black Kong - medium sized - that is holding up well, except that she is only interested in it when it contains treats.

Does anybody know of some good plush toys that I can leave with her? Or should no toys be left with her and I should just be less lazy? All comments welcome.

Update:

Thanks for all the input so far.

Labman, your suggestion sounds epic.

The ultimate is the Souper Size Galileo Nylabone. It is about 7 inches long and 3 inches around. It has the slick surface. They are more attractive if you rough up the surface with sand paper or by rubbing it on a concrete floor. Another technique is to jam a Nylabone into a Kong creating what I call a twofer. The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

I am a fan of the Kong chew toys. I had a Great Dane that liked to pop soccer balls, and my friend had a Stafordshire Terrier that chewed rocks. The toys did pretty good against both dogs. Took both of them quite a while to put a dent in them.

Oh no no no no! No spanking. domestic canine can not reason that way. They grow to be petrified of you, and that's not what you're searching for. initiate over. A doggy or small canine will in simple terms have the comprehension, at perfect, of a 2 year old baby, and that in simple terms after numerous coaching. i'm hoping this facilitates your attitude and expectancies of your infant. canine, exceedingly whilst they are teething, seek for something to chunk. they'd desire to chunk. grant numerous toys and place her in a community the place she (and your private living house) are risk-free. For small canine, Expandable Pens are a blessing! you could particularly set it up or flow it to a various section, or fold it up for storage. that's truthfully a 6 sided twine enclosure without roof. in simple terms enable doggy out and approximately in case you're there - staggering there - to oversee. If, once you're supervising, doggy gets into something it is going to possibly not.. in simple terms say uhuh! and supply it something it incredibly is meant to chunk on. it incredibly is consumer-friendly. Redirect - do not punish. Punishing for what you spot as flawed habit in simple terms confuses the infant. There are some staggering books via Patricia McConnell that could grant help to very much in information why your canine does what it does, and the thank you to redirect behaviors. perfect needs.

plush toys are ALL a big no-no for powerful chewers unfortunately (it's tough since most dogs LOVE plush toys over harder toys/kongs).

These work wonders for my powerful chewers (my dog too loves plush toys more, but for some reason he loves these too - especially the first one):

Try her on a food, I'm not sure if what bulldogs are aloud but we give my Dane a big carrot to chew on and leave a solid ball for him to play with

I dont know if your dog likes bones but my past dogs have always loved the ropes with a bone around it. I just got a new puppy and it keeps him pretty busy for awhile.
