Doctor or social service? Some of them are clueless. I have a friend that when she lost her vision her doctor told her ''You are blind now. You don't have a life, go home and sit.''

The Delta Society is a fine bunch of people, but therapy dogs and service dogs are very different.

Finally, I found this answer so outrageous. I reported it, ''Someone, such as yourself, who uses Zumba Fitness Videos, is NOT entitled to a service dog. Probably just using it as an excuse to take your dog where it doesn't belong.'' I hope others did too. I have yet to see a helpful answer from @Bobby.

Many otherwise physically able people do qualify for service dogs, the hearing impaired, diabetic, seizures, etc. There is no telling by looking at somebody if they need a service dog, and their medical condition is their business.

So if you know nothing of service dogs, go on to something you do know, if anything.

Can anybody tell me where to find it? He talks about being weary of the world, but still has work to do here.

Why don't the moderators do something about the handful of people that never give any help in their answers and only give short, insulting one attacking the asker?

How can anybody suggest keeping puppies in their litter to 12 weeks or more when it is so well documented they lose their ability to accept new things then or soon?

How many of you have had your breeding stock tested for being an EIC carrier and retired any found to be?

Where my puppies come from has. Due to questions about my health, I turned down a male yellow Lab the beginning of October. I resolved my questions, but they have a hole in their breeding program and now I may not get a puppy until into January. They don't just talk genetic testing and health.

In the real world, competent, well motivated people can have an even higher motivated dog best them. What are your horror stories?
