Are you testing your Labs for EIC?
I have been thinking about this and was offended by the one answer in the brindled Lab thread.
How many of you have had your breeding stock tested for being an EIC carrier and retired any found to be?
Where my puppies come from has. Due to questions about my health, I turned down a male yellow Lab the beginning of October. I resolved my questions, but they have a hole in their breeding program and now I may not get a puppy until into January. They don't just talk genetic testing and health.

If they have tested for this condition and have cleared their breeding stock, then I would not hesitate to buy a puppy there.....waiting if necessary.
I would also ask to see the test results.
I don't trust breeders that I don't personally know to be truthful about tests they supposedly have run

My breeder's stock has been tested and cleared for EIC. I don't know an awful lot about it, but I feel that it is important for a dog to be cleared.
