Did you watch the Kennedy Miniseries?

I watched it and was very impressed. I can see however that the Liberal establishment would be very upset with the portrayal of the Kennedy family in this mini series. To Liberals, the Kennedy's are royalty, what they did, who they were, their ideals and accomplishments are looked upon with near perfection, with admiration, reverence and awe. This mini series highlights the flaws that Kennedy family had, which were many! To a Liberal, this is heresy, and I believe that is why the series is so controversial. Does this mean that the History channel is not interested in portray history as it actually happened, but as they want it perceived? That is the conclusion I have come to!

I was sent some snippets to look at since I don't watch tv. One of them was(I guess) Bobby Kennedy telling Marylin Monroe to stay away from his brother or else! He said something about we will turn this on you.

I believe somewhere along the line in this series or what ever you call it a disclaimer was quickly put in to say this is a work of fiction. As I have said before there is not one single shred of evidence that they even met. So, that is what is, fictitious and more than likely they got away with it because everyone they trash is dead.

The second one was our boy Lee Harvey Oswald setting up his 'snipers post' As anyone who has studied the Warren report knows the Government had to admit that the whole snipers post was staged. Dallas police had the excuse that they wanted to 'film all the evidence in one shot' Huuummm...However they took the time to find a box with LHO's prints on it to get it into one shot. Creative if nothing else. This is when commissioner McCloy ask to be absconded from the panel. His request was denied however he never did sign his name to a 'fairy tale'

I don't want to see anymore-one can only guess at what else is simply fabricated out of thin air.
