White Zombie for influence, Rob Zombie for performance. A musician who in my opinion is better live than in studio.

I have to go with White Zombie. "More Human Than Human" and "Thunderkiss '65" were kickass, while "Dragula" was kind of corny. Plus, I really miss Sean Yseult, who was my fave female bassist ever. I do like some of the newer songs, though, and Rob has John 5 and Joey Jordison (2 of the most talented musicians of the passed decade) playing for him now, so he still has a pretty awesome lineup. But it's just not the same.
Still, I honestly prefer Rob as a director over either musical project. I think it's about time for a new original Rob Zombie movie.
