Now that we all agree that Idol voting is skewed?
to allow 12 year old girls (10% of the voters) to cast 90% of the vote, do you feel an overhaul in this system is eminent?
Keep in mind that the system used in Nigel Lythgow's other show, "So You Think You Can Dance", lets the judges choose which of the bottom 3 goes home. This ensures that the best available talent is retained.

Yes. It's nice to allow America to vote for their favorites, but not all of America knows real talent when they hear it. Some voters are tone-deaf, and some only vote for idols because of how they look.
I think Idol should implement a voting system similar to Dancing with the Stars because America's votes are combined with the judges scores. It seems more fair to do it that way, so the wrong people don't get voted off.

Since Jennifer Hudson got voted off, I thought they needed a limited on votes
The last few years, you do not lose a guy, and girl go week after week
If they limited the votes to 25, it would make it more fair
If person A got 10 people voting 20 times, that is 200 votes
If person B got 3 people voting 200 times that is 600 votes
If you have a limited of 25
Person A still get 20 votes a person, 10 people - 200 votes
Person B get 25 votes per person; 3 people -75 votes
That is more fair
It will give people like Pia a chance
If they do not change the amount of votes
You still will get the teenage girl vote keeping the guys
