Why no miracles/direct communication from God these days?

Ever heard of God of the Gaps? The more things that are discovered and the more there is a scientific explanation for things, the less God is needed. We don't get miracles these days because we have an explanation and don't need to invent a God to explain it.

Half those miracles were in the Old Testiment, where God was is direct connect with the righteous. The other half occured by Jesus, who no longer lives on earth but in the hearts of those who love him. Those were in the New Testiment. The Old and new testiments are different eras. We are in the new testiment where God no longer steps foot on earth and Jesus is not in human form any more. In the last days (today) it will be hard to have faith with all the knowledge and deceit being released into the world. When the temple is rebuilt in Israel, the antichrist will come and perform miracles, given the power from Satan. This will decieve many people. Id estimate in 10-100 years this will happen.

If you're athiest your faith in that ism would be shaken if you investigated these christians.

They have been in papers at times, but they came with the gospel message as well, and that is a message the "world" does not like, as most people don't like to see themselves as sinners needing redemption.

Those days certain facts could not be told in plain language. People did not believe. For example when it was announced that the world is round, he was beaten up.

Hence the media of mythological stories were adopted. Now we are able to walk on the sea by boat, ship and other floating gadgets. The sea water is converted to drinking water in he Gulf countries.

We have com across miracles that so many lives were saved from the point of death, through our advancement of medical science.

Across the countries, instantly we are able to talk each other, this is nothing but voice from heaven !

So many scientist got solution for their unresolved problems when they were sleeping, by way of dreams.This is nothing but the miracle of God. The Miracles are continuing.

Jesus will soon return. And perform the greatest miracle of them all.

Other writings from the period mentioned that resurrection was happening all over the place. It was treated as a banality at the time. LOL! It must have been the 'in' thing to do.

Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head and she is still alive, and is recovering better than any doctor expected her to. I say that's a miracle.

Because people don't want to admit the bible is BS, and that everyone back then was tripping balls and didn't know it...

There are several references to plants in the bible that have been identified in modern day as hallucinogenic. The people having crazy visions back then were just tripping, they just didn't have the knowledge to understand it.

Trivia Jockey, every time a baby is born, God is showing you a miracle and speaking to you with new life.

Miracles were needed when there were no printed books to get an entry into the attention of the people. Now it is not required.
