Why does the apple logo disappear when used in Facebook comments or as status?

Update:

I use a Mac so I should see it then, but I don't!  Its here now, but not on Facebook

    it's not a standard symbol recognized by the computers.

    becuase this logo is not part of facebook and will not be neccessary shown on facebook.
