What Are Good Excercises?

I've recently been trying to boost up my stamina, and lose quite a few weight in the thigh, tricep, bicep, stomach, and calf area. What are the hardest, and most effective excercises that I can do at home, or outside (park, backyard, around the neighborhood, etc) to work on this?

    run up and down stairs or combine walking with jogging in 5 min spurts.
