Male-female friendships?

A lot of times it takes two for it to lead to sex! If you seems open, and are showing body language and signs of wanting to flirt, then other men, who are open to it will likely play along and/or act flirtatious back. If you act like a buddy, a pal, or a casual friend who wants to chill, party , or have someone who they know are there as a friend then your senarios will likely turn out as the conclusion. The reason why many people think the way you are wondering is because they are old fashioned and superficial and think hands on. They don't put into consideration that men and women are human beings as well and can hangout just like everyone else. I know plenty of guys who hang out with women, but don't have sex. Especially people in their 30s and 40s who have a decreased sex drive. But you obviously think the way that I do, which is that stereotypes and superficial, close minded ways of thinking have got to go!

I agree with you. I, too, have many male friends, and while flirting IS something we do, we all know it's never going to happen.

I don't know about other people, but I flirt with people I am NOT attracted to, and it sure seems like other people do that as well. It's harmless, in this case.

In fact, I'm known as the "safe" friend--I have dates with my friends' husbands quite a bit. I'm single, and if he wants to go to the movies but she doesn't, he'll call me.

Because people don't understand life outside a movie. Usually in movies dudes and women fall in love when there friends. Look i went out with one of my friends never going back. I just think people find it easier to fall in love with a guy you already know, and sometimes it is, but other times it's not. People are in this unforgettable state of sexism, and yes, guys and girls can be friends without leading to sexual interaction.

thy can be friends..bur rarely *close*, *best* friends. I guess I'm in the minority type. I have a guy friend I have known since i was 14. we never dated, never slept with each other. He's still one of my best friends. I can't see him *that* way. he's more like a brother to me. We met long before I even met my husband.

It is impossible to have a friendship. I've tried it with many guys, and if I am not physically attracted, I don't need some random guy companion to go places with me or talk to about anything (I have girl friends for that) so I don't see why I need to be hanging around someone I'm not interested in f88king.
