Can someone give me a piece of their own poetry?

I want a piece of poetry about anything.

The best poet will win.

    The Lost Daisy

I lay on the ground with a daisy in hand,

    I hold it up high,

watch it's petals sway in the wind.

It's beauty lay in my palm

    I whisper a wish

as i drift to sleep on my arm

    and long for Springs kiss.

I wake upon the ground with no daisy in hand

    What I once held high,

    is gone in the wind.

With nothing left in my palm,

    I whisper to the air.

I then drift into the calm

because the daisy will always be there

    Forever in these hands.

Source(s): I wrote this poem and dedicated to my grandmother when she passed away. I read it at her funeral and that made my mom smile.

If I sailed upon a ship

    far far away

Id like to land on an island

on a warm and sunny day

    with warm sand beaches

    under my feet

palm trees swaying in the breeze

I'd lay back upon the sand

and there I would take my ease.

I would like to know the motive behind your question before I do.

Because I worry my thoughts will be taken and passed off as you.

    :)

    voices who couldn't see tomarrow

    full of Hurt

    full of pain

    full of rage

    song verse -

Alot of people accuse me of looking for pain- alot of people, they may be right as rain

But it's ok as long as I'm not put away for being insane
