In heterosexual porn, condoms are not common, but extensive HIV and STD testing is common--and for almost all studios, required. The system generally works well--there have been very reported cases of HIV among heterosexual porn actors.

In gay porn, condoms are used by most studios, and testing is less common. For the other studios, condoms are not used, and these studios often only hire actors who already have HIV.

I watched Jerry Springer show a few days ago, and this young woman who got into porn said they get tested for STD's every 30 days. In the 99% of the porn I've seen, condoms are not used. I just think that's playing with fire, but it's the industry's norm.

I know to me it's very sad. Even if they come up clean for something like HIV or AIDSs it's not guaranteed that there not positive for it. They may not show up HIV for a few years.

They think there winning big but really there killing themselves.
