Report: Shaq out for Playoffs?
This is what I just heard: http://network.yardbarker.com/nba/article_external...
If the Celtics were banking on Shaq, Jermaine, and Krstic to cover for Perkins' defense, what happens to their title hopes in this post-season?
@Aubrey, I hope Shaq is back for the 2nd round then

Time for him to retire, unfortunately. He had a great run.

Shaquille O'neal hasn't done much of anything this season, and they have done fine without him. I think that makes their size slightly better, but he only gives you a few good minutes a game anyway. I think they'll be fine, and will make it back to the Finals with or without him.

Wouldn't surprise me. His Achilles is still not 100%. It takes awhile for them to heal. Plus he's dealing with a calf injury.

Shaq is done.!!!
Even if he can return the next round or next season, the end of his career is just 5 min ahead.

not according to this. He said "I know that's not true," Rivers told CSNNE.com. "He's going to play. I just don't know when."
edit: me too!
