Lonely number seven.
Out of seven.
Never going to get to heaven.
May the lord awaken thee,
Open your eyes and let you see.
What our world could possibly be
Without religion clouding me.
A smothering velvet cape
Mouth agape
Swallowing everything sanctioned with tape.
All our open minds to rape.
God, I'll never manage escape!
Worship this cross and crucifixion.
Let go of your logic and feed our addiction
No one must know our books are fantasy fiction
From 2000 b.c. to revelation prediction.
Give up your morals, your heart and your soul
Trade them all in For an empty black hole.
No education, to Hell with the school.
O come little children, O come and enroll.
We'll make the masses happy to be fool

While I can see that your rhyme scheme made it seem that you attempted to make this a poem, the truth is that this is not a poem at all. It's simply prose. It contains rhyme, yes, but a rhymed poem will always have meter along with it. If a poem doesn't have meter, it doesn't have rhyme and it becomes free verse poetry.
