What do you think of the name CLEMENTINE for a girl?

I absolutely love Clementine, I really do.. she's been very high on my list for quite some time :) To me, Clementine has two sides: a bouncy, playful sweet side, and a sophisticated, lush and elegant dimension, and I really adore how these qualities fit together.. I adore her dynamic so much! I actually taught a pre-school aged Clementine last year, which added to my view that Clementine is indeed wearable.. she was sweet, energetic and inquisitive :) I think Clementine feels fresh and timeless, and my favourite nickname for her is Cleo, which just oozes sophistication and chicness to me. The Clementine I taught went by Emmy a bit, which I find cute too, but I'm not an overly huge fan of Clem/Clemmy.

Makes me want a clementine. Thinking of a mini orange. Not a good name for a child.

I don't like it... and it makes me think of that song "Oh my darling, oh my darling, oh my darling Clementine!" about a girl being lost. Sorry, that would freak me out :)

Makes me think of delicious citrus fruit. It's hard to imagine it as a person's name -- even though I know that that's what it originally was.

It's creative, I'll give u that, but I don't think ur daughter would be very happy with u if u named her that. Sorry keep looking
