Can I have your attention?

I've seen an answer to a P&S question that suggest that the person posting that question had made the submission only to get attention. The answer went on to say that if the asker was seeking attention they should just ask for it. So, I realize that I sometimes post questions only to get attention and I'm taking the advice given in the fore-mentioned post. With that I ask: Can I have your attention?

for as long as it takes me to write this answer, you may have my attention!

on a side-note..i dont see the big problem with people asking questions for attention or compliments..where's the harm in that
