Is this enough to bring to Disney World?

Ok, i have been to WDW before but this time, its different. Now i'm taking my grandmother and my parents. I plan on taking 800 bucks for food and souveniers. Only 50 or so will be for gifts. Do you think this is enough? My father and I eat a lot! But not a lot like, 2 entres. Im talking a lot like, eat a whole entre and a couple of snacks during the day. My mom and grandma dont eat much at all. We also have a kitchen in our resort, and to save money, we will be making eggs for breakfast each morning. Will 800 be enough? 10 POINTS!! We will be staying for 5 days four nights

My spouse and I had to leave property because dinners were averaging over $100 for the two of us and that was about 6 years ago. Since you're going to have your own kitchen you should be able to save on breakfast, at least. I think you'll be cutting it close if you eat on property the whole time.

A suggestion...I know you've been there before, but I bought us "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World" and it was a life saver. A professor and his students timed the lines for EVERY ride. He then gives you a step by step guide so that you can avoid standing in line for more than 30 minutes. We loved it and I recommend it to everyone.

    Have fun.

    I'd say, calculate about $20 per person per meal... so $20 x 4 x 10 = $800, then add a little more for souvenirs.

    Have fun :)

After souvenirs you'll have $750.00 left. This would allow approximately $37.00 a day per person for five days. Your budget is doable if you do eat breakfast in your room and if everyone is okay eating fast-food. As I mentioned before you'll probably be spending about $10-12.00 for each fast-food meal per person per day. Therefore if each person spends $24.00 on two meals per day, your budget would still allow approximately $13.00 per person for snacks per day. It will require serious budgeting but it can be done. Congratulations!

If it were me, though, I'd probably save most of the snack money in order to eat at a nice restaurant towards the end of my trip. But that's me.

I plan on $75 per person per day for food if you want one sit down meal. I don't know how long you are going for or if your room is on property. If you are staying on property I would consider the dining plan to help you plan for food costs.

Why don't you just all your meals outside Disney. If you are going to be on a tight budget the restaurants at Disney won't be much fun. There are so many places just outside the gates.

$800.00 is a bit much to spend for waiting on lines all day
