May buy a Mercedes-Benz 2006 E350 with an AMG Sport Package. What is an AMG Sport Package?

The only true AMG vehicle for the E-Class family in 2006 was the E63. On the E350, it is an appearance package mainly. The engine is stock and not modified at all as an earlier posts suggests.

The sport package will have larger brakes, slightly more firm suspension, larger rims, etc. as well as a bumper and skirt package on the body that resembles the E63.

Bandito is on target here. The sport package is appearance only and the only performance enhancements are in braking and suspension/wheels.

I also believe the 2006 would have been an E55 if AMG with the first E63 in the 2007 model year.

AMG division takes Mercedes-Benz car and upgrade the interior, then they modified the engine [Hand-built], suspension, and traction control to produce the sickest high power package you can put in a M-B.

higher performance package, diff suspension body ect.
