I am in the market for a lens and only have the money for one right now. I have been taking portait photos and was wondering which of those USM lenses would be best for that kind of photography. Photographers out there, which would you choose? My natural inclination is to go the the one with the lowest f-stop, the 50mm, but I have heard the the 85mm is a great lens and is more versatile. Your thoughts?

I have a Canon Powershot S-95. I won't use the flash, so what settings do I use to assure there is enough light without blurring?

I took some photos in the shade with light behind, so my subject's face was too dark. I was using the auto mode. I switched to manual and pressed the flash button and took the shot again. This time her face was too light -- overexposed. I wasn't happy with either one. What can I do make it work right next time?

Should I have adjusted the ISO?

Hubby bought me a new Canon T3i DSLR. We have read that it's best to shoot in RAW, rather than JPEG. Is there a good (relatively simple) software we can use to work with the RAW files, as well as organize the photographs? We will be shooting mostly portraits so skin tone is important. We won't need to do a lot of wild effects, but we will want to be creative. I have read about Adobe Lightshop 3 and Adobe Photoshop Elements. Do you recommend them? Or one over the other. I understand they don't do the same thing. Do you think we should get both? Or a different software altogether? Thanks so much.

I admit, I like it. I mean, it's very hot! He doesn't show my face, but my body is pretty much out there. We like to read the comments -- mostly nice -- about my body and what guys like about it. Have you ever done something like this?

I was told that I needed a "puck" device which I think is an adaptor that plugs into the center console of my recently purchased E350. This, apparently, will allow my phone to run through the hands-free telephone system in the car. My dealer says this "puck" thingy costs $600!!! Now, if this was a one-shot purchase I could POSSIBLY deal with it. But when you consider a phone upgrade every two years or so will result in a possibly different phone model with a different connector that will need a new $600 "puck" thingabob, I think "FORGET THIS" (as Ce Lo, would say). Am I missing something? Am I misunderstanding something? I know I am just a girl who isn't that much into cars, but I just want to use my freakin' phone as safely as possible! HELP!!!!

We got a great deal on a CTS, but it's the 2.8L V6, which seems underpowered. What can you car guys out there recommend to pump up the power a bit? And, if it is possible to do so, how much would it cost to do that? Thanks.

Sorry for being such a girl, but what is it?

I am considering buying it. It's $22,000 and has 57,000 miles. Assuming it's clean, does that sound like a good deal? It this a reliable car? Or a dog? Opinions from owners or former owners or MB mechanics would be most appreciated.

I left Second Life for about a year and a half. I recently came back to find all my wonderfull clothes and hair and shoes and houses and other purchases are no longer in my inventory. Have I lost them forever? Can I get them back?

I have only had one (bought it used), but want a backup.

I just had the brakes checked, so it can't be that. Some guy told be it could be the "front end." What in the "front end" could cause this? Steering column? Wheels? (It's a 2001 BMW 530i, by the way.)
