Look, I'm really scared :/ my boyfriend's getting circumcised.....?

It's due to medical issues, not some weird religious thing, I don't believe babies should be circumcised either so don't rant to me about that :L or if you WERE circumcised as a baby..I know it's really common in America and stuff (I'm from Scotland) so no worries :o please give me some advice. ESPECIALLY people who were circumcised in adulthood after experiencing orgasm.

RIGHT. Everyone says OMG LESS SENSITIVE! I don't know if this is played up due to the debate factor or whatever...I want people who have been circumcised or girls who have circumcised boyfriends etc.

How much longer does a guy take after he's been circumcised?! Right now oral takes like 2-5 minutes...will I have to be doing it for AGES cause it's so much less sensitive? What have your experiences been? How long does it take?!

My boyfriend is also premature...will he lose that? will it all balance out?! D:

SO CONFUSED.

Update:

How long will it take to desensitize?

Update 2:

His quickest is 7 seconds...sure he's not premature? aha

Update 3:

I SAID IT WAS FOR MEDICAL REASONS. he can't pull his foreskin back so he can't clean it and it's all infected and painful. he has no choice!

Update 4:

@Barry but nooo I don't want him to last longer! :L

He won't be less sensitive right away, if any thing he will be highly sensitive because the foreskin won't be there to protect the head and the head will be rubbing on his clothes. Don't worry things will work out just enjoy the ride.

Circumcision is a mutilation and does damage to the penis. It will tend to make everything work worse.

The only medical issue that merits circumcision is paraphimosis (also known as pinhole phimosis - where the foreskin only has a tiny hole). If your boyfriend doesn't have that, then whoever told him he needs circumcision is probably a circumcision fetishist (someone who gets sexual gratification from circumcision).

Get a second opinion. Circumcision permanently affects a man's sexual health - and not in a good way.

Since your boyfriend is a little more qualified in this department, I think I would take his opinion. There is no benefit to it, there are a lot of drawbacks, and there is always the risk of something going wrong. There are many babies that are scared for life-beyond the scaring of circumcision. There are babies that lose their penis completely because of mishaps, and few even die. And for what? Nothing. You will find the doc and the hospital will most likely put a lot of pressure on you to have it done. It is not because they are looking out for you, it is because they make a lot of money off little boy's foreskins. Not only do they charge you for the operation, they then sell your baby's foreskin for use in women's cosmetics. This is no joke-search it for yourself. Take your beautiful baby home all in one piece.

I agree with almost everything Lambert says, especially about listening the Ms Parker.

The foreskin normally covers the head of his penis. Without that it may be more sensitive for a while. BUT, the foreskin itself has many MANY nerve endings. When it's covering the head of his penis, the underside is more of a sensitive mucous, like the inside of your mouth. The outside is regular skin like the rest of the shaft. When a man (or boy) is circumcised both side are cut off.

As for his 'premature' ejaculation, it's hard to tell if that will change because of his circumcision since a lot of things will change. I'm sure some will be for the good and a few for the bad. You'll just have to be patient and give him time to adjust to the new sensations. He may be able to learn to control his ejaculations through some techniques like more foreplay that will stimulate you but not him. This isn't really something you can do for him since you're not going to be able to feel his sensations. Just be understanding and don't be demanding. He may have to wear a condom for a while, which would decrease his sensitivities.

Loss of sensitivity doesn't neccessarily = takes longer. Circumcised men on average last SHORTER than uncircumcised men. Nerve damage from circumcision decreases ability to control as well.

He's not premature at 2-5 minutes but he definatly needs to gain some basic control, that's a horrible amount of time to last. Sex isn't fun at all at that point.

Circumcision does greatly deminish sensitivity. The difference I have exsperienced is that sex is just no where near as enjoyable circumcised.

Premature ejaculation is caused by specific things that you do before and during sex. Most of the time without even realizing it. Read here https://tinyurl.im/aH39s Premature ejaculation is not some gene you're born with, the result of your penis size or a part of your personality that you can never change.

In most men, premature ejaculation occurs infrequently and isn't usually a cause for worry. However, if it occurs too often and ends up plaguing your sex life, it can very well be a cause for concern. Techniques to delay premature ejaculation https://tr.im/SQ63U

Studies have shown that premature ejaculation has a direct relationship with age. As men grow older and testosterone levels drop with age, premature ejaculation most likely sets in.

First of all, your boyfriend is going to feel so much better with his penis after all the problems hes being having.

Secondly, don't listen to this Kathleen Parker!

"circumcision causes nerve damage so he'll be even MORE premature. he'll have to be really rough to feel anything, it will suck for both of you."

Umm, no. What you have said is both conflicting, and wrong.

"the foreskin has 20,000 nerve endings"

Maybe, but thats not whats important. The highest concentration of nerve endings is under the foreskin, on the actual head of the penis.

"the men here saying "dont worry" are FUCKTARDS.

    please ignore them."

Yeah cos taking advice from a woman, who therefore has no penis, is the right thing to do!

The foreskin protects all of those nerve endings in the head of the penis, so, once the foreskin is gone, he may feel more sensitive due to the lack of protection. But, all of these nerve endings will be stimulated more from his underwear and other things because there will be no foreskin protecting them. So, over time, they will become less sensitive, and therefore, he may begin to last longer when having sex.

Either way, theres no choice, he really needs this done.

Most of the time an operation called preputoplasty will solve the problem without cutting it all off.
