What's on your equine bucket list?

What things would you like to do, involving horses, before you die?

my list

1) Visit the Vienna Riding School

2) Mounted Shooting

3) Mounted Archery

Those are what I can think of at the moment

Update:

Things I've done

Show/learn dressage

Show/learn reining

Show/learn saddle seat (these were all on the same horse!)

Ride a real reining horse

Get an autograph from an Olympic equestrian (Steffan Peters)

Go to the World Equestrian Games

Show at a world level show (Pinto World Show)

    - Break a horse and train it until finished (hopefully a hundred times in my career)

    - Watch a foal's birth

    - Ride along the beach

    - Gallop flat-out either in a field or on a track

    - Go on a cattle drive (which I might do next summer!)

    - Go to the WEGs

    - Barrel race on a legit barrel horse

    - Show hunter/jumpers on a legit hunter horse

    - Go camping with my horses

It would also be awesome if whoever I marry either knows how to ride or learns to... :)

    This is a great question!

    My list:

    1) Ride across the United States, or for starters the Colorado Trail (it goes down the continental divide from Denver to Durango)

    2) Breed, raise and train a horse to perfection

    3) Kill, field dress and pack out an elk on my own animal

    Good question!

    1) Own/ride a fantastic draft preferably a Clydesdale

    2) Get a good rep and make a successful training career for myself

    3) Gentle a mustang straight off the range

    4) Own a large training/boarding/rescue/lesson ranch somewhere in Colorado or Wyoming

Far fetched, I know. But where would we be if we didn't have big dreams? :)

--Ride my horse to work. I am pretty sure I could find enough back roads to get him here, but I have no place to go with him when that happens. lol...I don't think work's landlord would like to have a horse outside the building. I would, however, be the first office manager in the history of the company to ride a horse to work.

    --Endurance ride.

--Team penning. Unfortunately, Dad won't let me use to dairy cows to practice.

  • 1) Operate my own business

    2) Go to the World's (Not to show specifically, but to watch)

    3) Become a certified western coach

    4) Raise a foal and break it to ride
