How can I become swiss resident?

Knowing that a citizenship is virtually impossible, I'd like to head for a residency.

I come from a third-world slum, but I'm highly educated. I don't have the means to live by myself or be self-employed (i.e. I'm not rich. Far from it), but I have several specialized skills, and speak several languages.

Oh, and please preferably skip the "marry a swiss" option... I'd rather like to stay bachelor.

How can I become swiss resident?

Update:

By the way:

* I got no swiss descent.

* The cash I got only affords my daily living.

* I'm not a celebrity.

* I'm bachelor and I'd like to stay that way.

Woo! My chances are rocking high, uh?
